Pie Iron Simple Steak

Enjoy a gourmet dinner while camping. If there are leftovers, these are a great start to Philly Cheese Steaks.

Equipment

  • Pie Irons
  • Cutting Board
  • Quality Knife

Ingredients

  • London Broil
  • Preferred Seasonings salt, pepper, steak seasoning, etc.
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  • (Optional) Preheat your pie irons over the fire while getting your supplies ready.
  • Oil insides of pie iron and sprinkle liberally with preferred seasonings.
  • Cut steak to fit inside of pie iron. We typically use one of our double irons for this.
  • Place steak inside of pie iron, close.
  • Place on coals and cook, flipping every six minutes or so. Remove when it reaches your preferred doneness.
