We love s’mores but we don’t always love getting cleaned up after making and eating these sticky treats. Especially when we are camping at a location where the bathrooms are not close at hand. Enter the Cast Iron S’mores Dip for a less messy version. When we have a small group and want a small batch, we make this in a double pie iron. When we have a large group and require a large batch, we pull out the large cast iron skillet. It works both ways.
Who doesn’t love food cooked over a campfire? Actually we know a lot of people who don’t and we just have to feel sorry for them. Because we love to cook over a campfire, especially in cast iron. This may be in one of our pie irons, it might be in a Dutch oven, it could even be a skillet. They all work beautifully for cooking while camping.
